JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc., and John Snow, Inc.

JSI Research & Training Institute, Inc. and John Snow, Inc. (JSI) are two organizations that work to improve the quality and accessibility of health care and human services around the world. Inspired by the work of 19th-century physician Dr. John Snow, JSI strives to ensure that its staff members combine cutting-edge academic and scientific knowledge with direct community or health care experience. This wide breadth of expertise allows JSI to form teams that can effectively and thoughtfully address the varied needs of even the most complex projects.

Since its inception in 1978, JSI has grown to more than 1000 staff members worldwide, with expertise in public health, clinical care, research methods, economics, community development, operations, and marketing. JSI's main office is located in Boston, Massachusetts, with additional offices in Concord, New Hampshire; Arlington, Virginia; and Denver, Colorado.

About JSI Denver

In pursuit of JSI's mission, the Denver office has been able to develop a portfolio of projects that touch on a wide range of public health issues. JSI Denver has many capabilities and continues to grow to serve the changing needs of public health.

The JSI Denver office was established in 1982 to act as the Regional Training Center for Family Planning for Region VIII under a grant from the Office of Family Planning, Office of Population Affairs, DHHS.

JSI Denver continues as the Family Planning Regional Training Center for Region VIII, providing cost-effective training for health care providers and staff of federally-funded family planning programs, as well as other public and private health organizations. The Denver office has grown to possess many capabilities and manage several other projects, as outlined below.
